“Shield and Sword: Ordo Teutonicorum” is the first in a series of battle games based on the historical events of the so-called Great War with the Teutonic Order, which took place in the years 1409-1411. The LARP also makes references to Henryk Sienkiewicz’s novel “The Teutonic Knights” in places, but this is only a loose inspiration.
