III Oruński Tournament – Saga of Orunia

III RYCERSKI AND ARCHERY TOURNAMENT IN ORUŃSKI PARK FOR THE SHIELD OF THE FORMER GDAŃSK COMMANDER ALBERT OER

We cordially invite the esteemed knightly brotherhood to the Third edition of an amazing historical event on the occasion of the naming of Orunia in 1338 by the Gdańsk Commander Von Knieprode after Albert von Oer, who fell in the Battle of Płowce.

The III Historical Tournament will take place on June 14, 2025 in Oruński Park named after Emilia Hoene in the Gdańsk district of Gdańsk Orunia at ul. Raduńska 44.

The event program includes various attractions for visitors to the picnic:

• knight’s village
• Staging of the attack on the village of Orunia at 18:00
• sword and shield tournament
• archery tournament

Numerous shows for tourists:

• historical games and fun
• coin minting
• medieval cuisine
• exhibition of knightly equipment
• artillery show
• costume show
• medieval dance show and lessons

INFORMATION FOR RECONSTRUCTORS:

• Medieval costume around the 14th century is mandatory and participation in the staging! Limited number of places!
• Possibility of overnight stay from Friday 13.06 to Sunday 15.06 on the camp grounds in your own historical tent (limited number of places)
• Possibility to set up stalls
• Meal provided for each participant on Saturday
• Zold (payment) is provided on the day of the event!! (amount determined individually upon registration, not less than last year, possibility of reimbursement of travel costs)
